Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. This site tabulates several hundred specifications compiled from manufacturer listings, and a configuration that has changed, been renamed or been discontinued is exactly the kind of error worth reporting.

Useful things to include

• The page the problem is on.
• What is wrong, and what it should say.
• A manufacturer link, if you have one — it settles most questions in one step.

What this site cannot help with

• Warranty claims, repairs and returns — those go to the manufacturer or the retailer you bought from.
• Valuing or selling used optics.
• Advice on the legality of a particular optic or configuration where you live.
