Nikon ar-15 scopes
Prostaff, Buckmaster, Monarch, M-223, M-308 and P-series riflescopes are all discontinued. Tract Optics was founded by former Nikon Sport Optics staff and is the closest thing to a continuation.
Nikon no longer makes riflescopes. Nikon told its North American dealers in December 2019 that it was leaving the riflescope market. Sales did not justify the line, though its other sport optics did. Binoculars, spotting scopes and laser rangefinders continue; riflescopes do not, and no Nikon riflescope has been made since. Existing warranties are still honoured.
