Carl Zeiss Scopes Reviews

Zeiss scopes are not just any scopes. Although most companies that make rifle scopes are pretty good, we are a bit partial to Carl Zeiss scopes on account of a few simple reasons. First of all, while all other companies that make scopes also make other devices such as cameras, Zeiss has, for the better part of its history, been known for one thing. And that was manufacturing exquisite lenses. Lenses that reshape your perception of reality – both literally and figuratively.

The sharpness of the image, the lighting of the field of view, the incredible accuracy and the superb pixel quality made Zeiss lenses something to be desired for every camera ever built on the face of the Earth. With that in mind, we should talk about Carl Zeiss scopes. Seeing that Zeiss is almost exclusively dedicated to the lenses, what can we make of the way the scopes are designed?

We’re here to solve this question. We’re here to test if Zeiss scopes really live up to the name of the brand. The incredible optics company does make some mean-looking series of scopes. We’re going to break down each of these series and check out their features.

Victory Zeiss Scopes

Zeiss scopes

The Carl Zeiss Scopes Victory series is designed especially for hunting. The images are crisp and bright. The sight is made compact, ergonomic, yet incredibly deadly. It will make sure that once you’re out in the field, you will stay on target. And that’s no matter how far is the target, how well camouflaged it is, or how small. Whether it’s small game, medium game, or big game that you’re after, this line of scopes will guarantee you hit it where it counts.

Here are some of the highlights of Victory Zeiss scopes:

  • Victory HT Zeiss Scope. The HT has 5 models. Each is best for particular situations. The smallest rifle scope is the 1.1-4×24. It’s built to handle anything fast and dangerous at the same time. The two medium ones, 1.5-6×24 and 2.5-10×50, are designed for maximum light capturing and high-performance results. The biggest Victory HT is the 3-12×56. This one’s designed to perform well even in no-light conditions.
  • Victory Varipoint iC Zeiss Scope. The Varipoint iC is not a series but a technology. Still, there are some scopes specifically designed to carry red-dot illuminated reticles. The iC can be activated or deactivated according to the shooter’s wish. The reticle is designed so that it works exceptionally well even without the dot.
  • Victory FL Diavari Zeiss Scope. The Diavari can achieve up to 24% magnification. On the other hand, the Diavari was built so that it offers great precision even at close-range shooting.
  • Victory Red Dot Sights. We’ll admit, red dot sights are not scopes. However, we thought we’d mention them since it’s nice that Zeiss also make them available to customers.

Conquest Zeiss Scopes

Zeiss scopes

Conquest Zeiss Scopes are designed not just for hunting, but for a whole range of activities. Military choose to employ conquest Zeiss optics. Conquest models are also often found at professional shooting competitions. The standout features of Conquest Zeiss Scopes are the adequate natural light reproduction (assuring that the colors are the same), the lightweight construction, and the incredible precision.

Some stars of the Conquest Zeiss rifle scopes series:

  • Conquest HD5 Zeiss Scope. The Zeiss Conquest HD5 is a versatile scope, built for a nobler age. The SuperZoom feature makes sure you get to hit your game from whatever distance you may want to. Depending on what you want to do with it, there are 4 different HD5 models.
  • Conquest Duralyt Zeiss Scope. The Duralyt is one of the Zeiss scope models with an illuminated reticle. This device even has a touch system that permits it to be turned on and off at the simple push of a small button. The same button regulates the intensity of the light.
  • Conquest Basic Zeiss Scope. There are three more Zeiss scopes that do not have a special name. These Conquest models are three: the 3-90×40 Rimfire, the 3-12×56 MC, and the 6.5-20×50. For those of you who like engaging in long range shooting, the latter model may well be the best of all the Zeiss scopes.

Terra Zeiss Scopes

Zeiss scope

The Terra Series of Zeiss scopes is built to last. No other series of rifle scopes has such resilience to harsh weather condition. Like many other self-respecting riflescope companies, Zeiss optics also offer a comprehensive warranty system that accounts for user negligence. No matter how the user happens to damage the scope, Zeiss will offer to replace it. That’s because their optics are built to stand against the toughest conditions.

The best Terra Zeiss scopes:

  • Terra 3X Zeiss Scope. Being fresh in the line of Zeiss Scopes, the Terra Zeiss series only has one model: the 3X. However, it’s a very diversified miniseries. It features a total of 5 scopes ranked as follows: the 2-7×32, the 3-9×42, the 3-9×50, the 4-12-40, and the 4-12×50. The first of these is probably the most compact of all Zeiss rifle scopes and is recommended for careful stalkers that like to hide in thick bushes and foliage. The Zeiss Terra 3-9×42 is slightly larger all-purpose riflescope. As is the newer 3-9×50. The last two models are, as per usual, very good at magnification.

The Terra Zeiss series does seem like a promising one and we can’t wait to see an iC version of these beautiful rifle scopes.

Conclusion

There are many more advantages to Zeiss scopes than we had room enough to delve into right here. We should, however, mention the bullet drop compensation system by Zeiss which clearly is one of the best in the riflescope world. Also, Zeiss scopes reviews praise the Zeiss ballistic reticles for being far better than many companies which exclusively produce rifle scopes. It seems that Zeiss really know what their customers are actually after when they set their sights.

Zeiss scopes are solid pieces of craftsmanship. Any hunting job will benefit immensely from Zeiss scopes, as would any military or professional shooting job. Let us know what you think of Zeiss scopes in the comments section below.
